MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
Parents are responsible for bringing and picking up their child(ren) from groups.  Parents are expected to be on time dropping their child(ren) off and picking them up.         
There are events where additional funds are required.  You will be responsible for covering these funds for your child(ren).   
The girls will utilize these group to talk about heir challenges and their accomplishments.  They will be taught the importance of respecting their peers, the staff and more importantly themselves.  If respecting the staff becomes a problem, you will be asked to pick your child(ren) up from group.     
The 6 Pillars of Character are utilized in Girls and Boys of Character.  Teaching the children about the 6 pillars which are Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, and Citizenship has shown growth in many of the children.
Parent involvement is needed in Girls and Boys of Characters.  This may be following up with your child(ren) when they are given information regarding GBOC or asking your child about their group experiences. 
The 125.00 enrollment fee for GBOC is non-refundable.  The enrollment fee is pro-rated based on the enrollment date. There is a 5.00 fee assessed for each month the fee is not paid. THIS FEE HAS BEEN WAIVED.
Fundraisers are held throughout the year.  Parents are required to assist in the fundraisers. 
If your girl will not be present or will be late for group, it is the responsibility of the parent to contact GBOC making us aware prior to the group.
The calendar of event is available at the beginning of the year.  The children will meet on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 1-3pm.  Group dates and times are subject to change.
