Marie Gray mother of Wisdom Brown

I have watched my daughter grow during her years in Girls of Character, she is growing to be such a respectful, responsible, and caring young lady. I know it is an attribute and the foundation that has been created thru the vision of the Girls of Character and the women who mentor the program  They have taught her to strive for excellence and be the most determined and productive member of society that god has called her to be.  Marie Gray mother of Wisdom Brown

Earl Harlan father of Aryanna Harlan

I feel that the Girls of Character has made me listen to my daughter's concerns, hopes and dreams. It gave me a better perspective on how to understand what the Girls of Character represented. It also helped me in learning that the organization was teaching values that would help my daughter through life. The values and virtues instilled in my daughter will hep her overcome the many obstacles she will face as she continues to mature. I'm very pleased with the Girls of Character and that my daughter and I had the opportunity to be a part of such a great program and organization. The life skills will follow the participants forever in life!!!! Father of Aryanna Harlan

Sheila Brown mother of Jerrica Owens

I have enjoyed Jerrica's experience in Girls of Character, she has been able to communicate better, she is more respectful, and she has been able to learn to trust in God as a result of being a part of Girls of Character. I would love for her to continue in Girls of Character! Mother of Jerrica Owens

Anthony Baker father of Reiana Baker

Girls of Character has been a true blessing to me and Reiana. I have watched her grow up right in front of my eyes. GOC has kept my daughter grounded and also gave her something to be a part of that is centered around CHRIST instead of being exposed to the negative thins of the world. Reiana is respectful, responsible, and loves the Lord and GOC has a lot to do with that. I am very thankful and grateful for Mrs. Norma V and everything she has done with GOC. Looking forward to another fun year!

(Alumni) My experience in Girls of Character was amazing!!!! I loved going to every group/meeting and learning new things, like how to be more confident. When I first joined the group I was super super shy, by like my 3rd year I was friends with everybody..... I had learn a lot about how to be a young lady and proper manners. I loved all 5 years of being in GOC and I'm looking forward to being a Mentor!!!!

Jerrica Owens age 12 (2015)

"My experience has been really good with being in Girls of Character, I have learned to behave like a girl should. "I have also learned how to not act grown and to be a little girl".
