Dream Big!
Today, GBOC treated the children to an exciting theater experience to see GOAT — and what an experience it was!
We purchased four tickets for a 4D showing, which made the day even more memorable. A 4D movie is an enhanced, immersive cinematic experience that synchronizes a 3D film with physical and environmental effects inside the theater. The seats moved and vibrated along with the action on screen, and we experienced scents, wind, rain mist, strobe lights, and even fog throughout the film.
You could hear the “whoas!” and bursts of surprised laughter as the seats twisted and turned, taking us right into the heart of the adventure. Even after the movie ended, the children continued sharing how wonderful and fun the experience had been.
Without giving away any details, the film offered many powerful life lessons. The main character, Will Harris, reminded us all to dream big, persevere, and believe in ourselves.
I’m especially excited about our next session with the children, where we’ll discuss what they gleaned from the movie and how those lessons can be applied in their own lives.
This is a movie that isn’t just for children — adults can learn (or relearn) meaningful life lessons as well.
In the following weeks, the blogs will be written around the discussion with the children.
I encourage you to go see the movie and take a child or children with you.
